How can I ActivSync my laptop to my PDA?
My i-mate PDA2K has crashed (back to original factory settings) and wiped everything that is uploaded files including contact telephone numbers. Usually you can reload my Toshiba Qosmio (running XP) when the PDA is recharged and data synchronization via USB cradle that is connected to ActiveSync. However the laptop does not recognize the PDA. It continues to call a device name and will not accept any offer. The laptop Pocket_PC suggested the name will not connect because it says it is already in use. The alternative offered is to create a link to Posadas data sharing while connected, but offers no synchronization data suggesting that the PDA will not retain the data off-line. Anyone have a solution to this dilemma? Geek: Thanks for your input. Having followed your advice, uninstalled ActiveSync still not back to install or configure on boot. How can it be restored "to coordinate with the PDA?
