Most WiFi detectors on the market offer no way of knowing if the signal is encrypted. Are there any that would like to say? If so, what are they?
Most low-cost sensors are in this way. Just look for a signal and nothing else. A decent WiFi phone, or simply scan your PC after finding a hot spot is the next best thing. It's all about the cost.
